Limousin
The Goldies herd, founded by Jim Goldie, was among the early importations of Limousin into the UK and have always strived to be at the top end of the market. Considerable success has been achieved with animals and semen exported worldwide. Today the herd is based on the finest French and British genetics and numbers 100 cows.
All cattle are performance recorded from birth. Many of our stock are well in to the top 1%. Performance figures can be accessed through the British Limousin Cattle Society website.

Triple Champion- Male Champion RUAS May 07, All Ireland Champion July
07 and Carlisle Sale Champion Nov 07. Purchased jointly for 24,000gns. Bravo’s first crop include a top price Carlisle bull and a top price red bull at Stirling. Bravo sired both the Senior Champion and Junior Champion at Carlisle, Feb 2011, selling for 16,000gns & 10,000gns respectively. His sons at Carlisle in 2011 averaged over £10,000.

Lascard’s first crop of bull calves (all out of heifers) averaged £9206 and included Goldies Oswald (see photo). Oswald was the sire of The Deerstalker, Smithfield Champion and Spooks, Winter Fair Champion.
