Texels
GOLDIES TEXELS, together with their sister flock LOCHAR TEXELS, were founded in the 1980s. The flocks currently number 120 breeding ewes. All sheep are performance recorded from birth and performance figures can be accessed through the British Texel Sheep Society website. The flock is MV accredited, scrapie monitored and eligible for export.
A great selection of quality tight skinned shearling rams, ram lambs and females are for sale from July to December each year. For more details please contact us. We also sell annually at Lanark, Carlisle, Kelso and Worcester.
A great selection of quality shearling gimmers are now available privately. In addition we will have some at the Autumn ram sales and will again have our annual consignment at The Christmas Stars sale in Carlisle on 4th December 2010.

Garngour Major
 An outstanding ram half share purchased with the Clark family retaining half a share. His ¾ brother sold for the top price of 40,000gns at The Scottish Premier Sale Lanark 2007. At the same sale a half brother sold for 16,000gns. Major’s dam is half sister to the dam of the Carlisle and Worcester sale Champions 2007.
